Position Description

About Us 

Accessible HR is seeking a part-time HR Generalist. This person will mainly support the HR Director and have the opportunity to work on various tasks and projects. This position is a remote position with the need for an occasional office presence.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures
  • Performing research

  • Reports and analytics
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations
  • Provide support with various HR-related topics

Qualifications & Desired Skill Set

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or another relevant related degree
  • 1-2 years of experience as an HR Generalist
  • Excel proficiency is a must
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills, detail-oriented and well organized

Procurement Specialist - Step One Foods

Position Description

Summary

Step One Foods is looking for a Procurement Specialist to help purchase raw ingredients and finished goods from co-manufacturing partners, identifying and investigating vendors, and establishing and maintaining vendor performance records. The Procurement Specialist will conduct negotiations, prepare purchase orders, coordinate freight tracking, expedite deliveries, and maintain documentation associated with procurement. The ideal candidate is someone that is well-organized, driven and detail oriented. This position is ideal for someone with procurement and budget management experience that is local as the position is in St. Louis Park.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plans raw ingredients, packaging, and finished goods from co-manufacturers purchases by studying sales and operating plan requirements and requests
  • Obtains food and freight quotes by forwarding requirements to vendors as well as evaluating alternatives
  • Arranges freight and delivery of orders by providing delivery time, location, and directions plus tracking and expediting deliveries
  • Maintains purchasing records by updating item specifications and applicable documentation
  • Certifies vendors by identifying and investigating vendors and creating and verifying vendor performance record
  • Places food orders by negotiating price, terms, and delivery and preparing purchase orders
  • Resolves delivery discrepancies by comparing purchase order to delivery documentation and obtaining credits and refunds, if necessary
  • Reduces raw material costs by identifying new suppliers and evaluating substitutions and standardizations
  • Improves quality purchasing results by analyzing items and vendor reliability as well as identifying and researching options and recommending changes based on analysis and research
  • Provides purchasing information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
  • Protects the organization value by keeping information confidential and cautioning others regarding potential breaches
  • Improves food purchasing job knowledge by attending training sessions, reading technical publications, and understanding the cyclical seasonality of raw ingredients
  • Contributes to purchasing and organizational success by welcoming related, different, and new requests and helping others accomplish job results
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 4+ years relevant job experience if do not hold a Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel And Google Sheets
  • Midmarket ERP experience a plus


Experience 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience commensurate with key responsibilities listed above
  • Forecasting and budgeting knowledge
  • Inventory planning, vendor, & co-manufacturer management a plus

Fulfillment Manager - Step One Foods

Summary

Step One Foods is looking for a Fulfillment Manager to implement, manage, and maintain efficient operations, track workflow systems to ensure a timely delivery and communication of all projects from inception to fulfillment. The Fulfillment Manager will play a key role in helping to develop and maintain Step One Foods’ E-Commerce process. The ideal candidate is someone that is well-organized, driven, detail oriented and a critical thinker. This position is ideal for someone with outbound shipping, warehousing and fulfillment, and data and analytics experience that is local as the position is currently in St. Louis Park.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee e-commerce order processing and inventory fulfillment
  • Monitor inventory levels and work closely with procurement to ensure finished goods arrive and orders are being fulfilled in a timely manner
  • Oversee handling of physical and virtual inventory of finished goods. Physical: cycle counting, shrinkage, work orders. Virtual: adjustments, transfers, holds.
  • Staff and manage team of fulfillment specialists to track, problem-solve issues. Assist in ideating and implementing new processes to prevent issues and improve operations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customer support and clients to ensure deadlines are met and all issues are effectively communicated and resolved
  • Work closely with internal marketing partners to streamline communication and drive process and quality
  • Serve as an advocate for the customer experience from time of project ideation to post-sale engagement
  • Liaise with customer support and marketing to proactively approach projects pre and post fulfillment, ensuring they have the latest details to work from to provide exemplary customer experiences
  • Produce and distribute frequent receiving, shipping, and inventory reports, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Proactively identify operational problems, project-related issues, changes, variances and contingencies that may arise; facilitate problem resolution with appropriate parties
  • Forecast and project inventory levels, submitting purchase orders recommendations to satisfy back-ordered units and replenishment reorders
  • Own parcel contracts including renewal and rate negotiations. Understand invoices, minimums, discounts, surcharges and money back guarantees
  • Analyze data to monitor shipping patterns and recommend opportunities for improvement and optimization


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  •  4+ years relevant job experience if do not hold a Bachelor’s degree
  • Aptitude for distilling complex information into concise and actionable next steps
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Office
  • Superior math and analytical skills


Experience 

  • 2 – 5 years of e-commerce experience 
  • Strong working knowledge of Product, Inventory, and Order management systems
  • Inventory planning, vendor, & co-manufacturer management a plus
  • Managed multiple projects at a time, while being efficient, meeting deadlines, and sustaining quality of work
  • Experience with Shopify and/or ShipStation a plus
